First Rate Customer Service

I purchased a new rooftop AC for our motorhome from Beckley’s. These units have been in short supply due to pandemic-related supply chain issues. After trying several sources close to home (and my home just happens to be close to the AC manufacturer) I finally found one available from Beckley’s, and ordered it, even though they are half-way across the country from me. A short time later I got a call from them. I expected they were calling to tell me their website wasn’t updated and they didn’t have what I’d ordered. Instead, it was a very courteous lady named Tammy calling to verify, for an order of such dollar-magnitude, that I was a real person placing a real order. Let me also add that their shipping costs were about 1/3 of what I’d been quoted from suppliers closer to me (that is, if one had been available). Two days later I received an email from Beckley’s saying it should be delivered that day. And it was! So I’m—literally—a happy camper! The key point of this experience: In an age where customer service doesn’t seem important to so many businesses, Beckley’s seems to get it. A very positive experience.
